• *Job Summary
We seek motivated and detail-oriented entry-level engineers to join our team in various roles, including Interconnections Engineer, Permits Coordinator, PV Designer, and CAD Designer. These positions are ideal for individuals passionate about renewable energy and looking to build their careers in solar energy. As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in developing, designing, and implementing solar energy systems.
• Responsibilities*:
Depending on your role, your key responsibilities may include:
• *Interconnections Engineer
- Assist in evaluating and designing grid interconnection solutions for solar projects.
- Analyze utility interconnection requirements and ensure compliance with technical standards.
• Permits Coordinator
- Collaborate with local authorities to obtain necessary permits for solar installations.
- Ensure projects meet zoning, building codes, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain detailed records of permits and approval processes.
• PV Designer
- Design photovoltaic (PV) systems, including layout optimization and electrical configurations.
- Conduct system performance simulations using industry-standard software (e.g., PVsyst).
- Assist in the preparation of bill-of-materials (BOM) for projects.
• CAD Designer
- Create detailed CAD drawings for solar system designs, including site layouts and electrical schematics.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to revise designs as needed.
- Maintain accuracy and consistency in all technical drawings.
• Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or a related field (Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering preferred).
- Knowledge of solar energy systems, renewable energy, or related fields is a plus.
- Proficiency in relevant tools/software:
• Interconnections Engineer: Power flow modeling software, Excel, and technical documentation.
• Permits Coordinator: Project management tools and documentation software.
• PV Designer: PVsyst, Helioscope, Aurora or similar.
• CAD Designer: AutoCAD, SketchUp, or other CAD software.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
