The Entry Level Installer position involves various tasks related to the installation of renewable energy systems, primarily solar. The role requires physical labor, including roofing, electrical work, and carpentry, often on pitched roofs while using climbing gear. Installers will be expected to carry loads of up to 50 lbs and utilize hand and power tools effectively. The job is physically demanding and suited for individuals who enjoy outdoor work and are committed to promoting renewable energy solutions. The position entails working 10-hour shifts, typically four days a week, with job sites located across Maryland, Washington D.C., Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Delaware. Travel to job sites is provided from the Ijamsville, MD office, and occasional overnight stays may be required. The company offers a salary with daily overtime pay at 150% for hours worked beyond 10 hours per day, based on GPS data from company vehicles. Sick leave is accrued at a rate of 1 hour per week, totaling 6.5 days per year, and vacation leave begins to accrue after one year of employment. Health insurance is available after 60 days, with the employer covering a portion of the costs.

Responsibilities

Requirements
• Valid Driver's License is required.
