Entry Level Environmental Scientist

Environmental Logic is hiring an Entry Level Environmental Scientist in Trenton, NJ. Candidates with 0-2 years of experience are sought to conduct field sampling, assist in report preparation, and manage site investigations. A Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field is required, along with strong writing skills and a valid driver’s license for travel. The position is full-time with a salary between $47,500 and $55,000.
Environmental Logic a boutique consulting firm in Lawrenceville, NJ is seeking candidates with 0-2 years experience to perform field sampling and assist in the preparation of technical/regulatory reports.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Chemistry, or related discipline.
• Well Organized with strong technical writing skills.
• Detail oriented and ability to work independently
• Effective environmental writing and communication skills
• Working knowledge of and experience working with New Jersey Site Remediation Program Rules and Guidance.
• OSHA 40-hour training
• Must possess a valid driver license and be willing to travel within New Jersey and surrounding area

Responsibilities:
• Task management responsibilities supporting site investigation and remediation
• Conducting soil and ground water field sampling under the guidance of Project Manager/LSRP.
• Preparation of post sampling documentation
• Data management and evaluation.
• Environmental permitting activities.
• Coordination and oversight of subcontractors including drillers, excavators, and laboratories
• Preparation of Phase I and Preliminary Assessments
