About the position

Responsibilities
• Work with large industrial and commercial electric customers to identify and solve power quality related problems.

• Collaborate with colleagues in distribution, transmission, and generation business units.

• Provide technical support to the renewable energy interconnection team.
,
• Develop proficiency in analyzing field data and single-line electrical drawings.
,
• Perform field work safely and effectively.

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited program.

• 0-2 years of engineering experience for Engineer I; 3+ years for Engineer II; 5+ years and a valid U.S. Professional Engineer license for Engineer III.

• Basic knowledge of engineering concepts and theory.
,
• Strong oral and written communication skills, including technical writing.

• Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills.
,
• Ability to interpret codes, regulations, and practices.

• Ability to work within a team environment.

Nice-to-haves
• Experience with renewable energy systems and battery energy storage systems.

• Familiarity with microgrids and inverter-based resources.
