Job Description

Exelon is seeking an experienced Energy Trader in Dallas, TX, with a strong background in energy markets and trading. Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree and 3-5 years of industry experience, along with analytical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include analyzing markets, executing trades, and maintaining stakeholder relationships. The role emphasizes safety and compliance in all trading activities.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of professionals and help shape the future of the energy industry.To be successful in this role, you must have a bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g. finance, economics, engineering, mathematics, etc.), a minimum of 3-5 years of experience working in the energy industry, strong analytical and forecasting skills, and a comprehensive understanding of energy markets. In addition, you must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as strong organizational and time management capabilities. The ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is essential. Furthermore, a strong commitment to safety and sound business practices is critical.

Responsibilities:
Analyze energy markets and develop strategies to maximize profits.
Monitor market conditions and adjust trading strategies accordingly.
Utilize analytical and forecasting skills to make informed decisions.
Execute buy and sell orders in a timely manner.
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of energy markets.
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
Monitor energy price trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
Monitor portfolio performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
Work with other traders to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Maintain a commitment to safety and sound business practices.
Utilize excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with stakeholders.
Demonstrate strong organizational and time management capabilities.
Demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
