Catfoss Recruitment Ltd have partnered with an Energy Generation Asset Management company to recruit several permanent positions for BESS Field Service Engineers across the UK.
About the Position:

The successful candidate will perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and warranty repairs on energy storage units at multiple BESS sites. They will work closely with the Operations & Maintenance Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
• Regularly inspect and maintain Energy Storage Systems to optimize performance.
• Upgrade system software and firmware as needed.
• Analyze system performance data and provide insights.
• Provide phone support and remote diagnostics to customers.
• Troubleshoot equipment at BESS sites to minimize downtime.
• Manage spare parts inventory.
• Evaluate and implement safety protocols.
• Conduct risk assessments.
• Complete administrative tasks.
Requirements:
• Possess a qualification in electrical or electro-mechanical engineering.
• Have prior experience in electrical or multi-skilled maintenance roles.
• Develop basic IT skills.
• Hold a qualification in working safely on site.
