Energy Specialist - Solar

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Solar Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for renewable energy and a strong background in technical sales, customer service, and outside sales. As a Solar Consultant, you will play a crucial role in promoting solar energy solutions to customers, providing exceptional service, and ensuring the successful installation and maintenance of solar systems.

Responsibilities
• Engage with potential customers through various channels, including door-to-door outreach and community events.
• Conduct site assessments to evaluate the feasibility of solar installations.
• Provide detailed information about solar products and services to educate customers on their benefits.
• Negotiate contracts and finalize sales agreements with clients.
• Collaborate with installation teams to ensure seamless project execution from start to finish.
• Maintain relationships with existing clients to encourage referrals and repeat business.
• Utilize software tools for tracking leads, managing customer interactions, and reporting on sales activities.
• Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor offerings to effectively position our services.

Skills
• Proven experience in outside sales or technical sales within the energy sector is highly desirable.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
• Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable terms for both the company and customers.
• Familiarity with solar technology and energy solutions is a plus.
• Bilingual abilities are advantageous for communicating with diverse customer bases.
• Proficiency in using software applications for sales tracking and customer management.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
