Job Description

The Energy Solutions Manager at Solar Candi Philippines will develop business strategies for renewable energy solutions, managing sales processes from client contact to contract negotiation. Key responsibilities include client coordination, due diligence, market intelligence, and relationship management with regulators and partners. Candidates should have 10 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, strong negotiation skills, and a technical understanding of solar technologies. This is a full-time position based in Makati.
The Energy Solutions Manager will develop long-term business strategy for renewable energy (solar, bioenergy and solutions) among multinational corporations and leading local conglomerates across the Philippines. The Business Development Manager is responsible to oversee overall sales process from first contact with the customers up to proposal presentation and eventually contract negotiations and securing deals.

The position is reporting to the Senior Managing Director.

Key Responsibilities
• Coordination with potential clients to establish rapport and develop business relationships with customers across target segment and Territory
• Legal, Commercial and Technical due diligence of potential customers and interacting with them to collect technical data, customer requirements
• Understanding the existing electrical system of the client and should be aware with various Industrial processes
• Coordination with Operation team to present techno commercial solutions and legal agreement to customers
• Market Intelligence – Constantly evaluate the ecosystem for Onsite and grid connected Solar projects from a regulatory, technical-commercial angle
• Network and develop good working relationships with regulators, utilities, Govt., state energy authorities, Renewable Energy Associations etc.
• Develop & manage the various EPC companies in the region
• Track, evaluate, apply, and close Tender based leads
• Develop and manage channel partners and drive them to deliver Business Goal.
• Drive Revenues constantly increase customer satisfaction in a time bound manner

• Candidate should be well versed with the technical concepts of solar PV technologies and Opex projects like IRR, buy back values, Deemed Generation etc.
• Ability to manage complex projects and multitask
• Ability to flourish with minimum guidance and be proactive.
• Proficient in word, excel, power point and outlook

Qualification:
• 10 years’ experience working in the renewable-energy industry; current or previous experience in a solar project (solar rooftop and ground mount), bioenergy ad thermal solutions industry
• Graduate Engineering Management, Sales/Business Management
• Good Academic Background
• Local languages and English preferred
