beBee Careers is seeking an Energy Policy Analyst in Milan to support the Regulatory and Public Affairs team. The role involves preparing briefings, conducting political and regulatory analysis, participating in trade associations, and developing stakeholder engagement strategies. Candidates should have a Master's degree, strong analytical and interpersonal skills, and knowledge of energy policies. Fluent Italian and English are required, along with a willingness to travel.
Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated individual to support our Regulatory and Public Affairs team in Italy. As a Regulatory and Public Affairs Intern, you will play a key part in developing our business in the Country.

About the Role:
• Preparation of briefings and background notes ahead of institutional meetings
• Supporting business development with political and regulatory analysis, including at regional and local level
• Participation in working groups and activities of trade associations, providing inputs during meetings and reporting back
• Contribution to develop stakeholders' engagement strategies both at national and local level
• Maintenance of legislative and regulatory updates, while assessing risks and opportunities
• Attendance of events and seminars related to energy issues or political interest

Qualifications:
• Master's Degree, preferably in Political Science, International Relations, Social Science or equivalent
• Strong understanding of the Italian legislative-making process and institutional dynamics, notably on energy issues
• Strong analytical skills, ability to analyze legislative texts, detecting risks and opportunities; capacity to understand trends and dynamic and to elaborate strategies
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work in team and to interact with a wide range of business areas and colleagues; ability to speak in front of an audience and to adapt the communication style according to the context and the interlocutor
• Strong drafting skills, ability to draft briefings, policy notes and position papers
• Understanding of energy policies, energy market and renewables
• Knowledge on national and European legislation is an asset
• Eagerness to learn and to develop professional skills
• Availability to travel
• Fluent Italian and English
