MMR Constructors, Inc. is hiring an Energy Marshal for a project in Georgia. The role involves managing the Energy Marshal program, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and coordinating with various teams. The potential candidate will be responsible for management of the overall Energy Marshal program, including both permanent and temporary energy sources.

Job Duration: approximately 3 months (through end of June)
Job Schedule: 5/10's - select crews may work Saturdays
Rate: $40.00 - $50.00/hour (depending on experience)
Per diem: $875.00/week (must meet mileage requirements)
Duties and Responsibilities of Energy Marshal (including but not limited to):
• Comprehensive understanding of the LOTO process & ability to manage the LOTO program
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints (especially one-line diagrams) along with system redundancies to ensure the design of LOTO systems is compliant
• Familiarity with multiple levels of power redundancy and major electrical equipment typically used in construction (Electrical Switchgear (MV & LV), Transformers (MV & LV), Uninterrupted Power Supply Systems, Automatic Transfer Switches, Generators, Power Distribution Units, etc.)
• Prepare, review, submit and close out detailed Methods of Procedure outlining safe equipment energization steps
• Coordination with the General Contractor and Owners Representatives
• Coordination with all trades to ensure clear methods for communicating electrical safety plan
• Participate in permit meetings (i.e., Plan of the Day, Energized Work, Commissioning)
• Must comply with all safety and company rules and regulations
• Independent authority for stopping all unsafe work practices
• Manages Energy Isolation team and provides field training (i.e., LOTO Coordinators, Energization Team, Door Attendants, etc.)
• Implement policies & procedures outlined in MMR’s HS&E Electrical Safety Plan
• Must be able to read and understand electrical drawings and a project schedule
• Employee must be able to travel to and from the jobsite via personal vehicle or other public form of transportation
Skills/qualifications or Data Center Energy Marshal:
• OSHA 30 REQUIRED - TAKEN WITHIN THE LAST 5 YEARS.
• NFPA 70E Qualified
• Control of Hazardous Energy (COHE)
• CPR / AED / First Aid
• Contact Release
• Minimum 10 years of experience working in construction doing electrical installations
• Proficient in LOTO procedures
• NCCER Plus Certification Preferred
• Understanding of all related OSHA construction regulations and lockout requirements
• Able to provide strong leadership and communication to site personnel
• Possess effective planning skills
• Experienced at problem solving and being an effective communicator
• Must be proficient in standard Microsoft Suite (Word, Outlook & Excel) as well as PDF editing programs (Revu/Bluebeam, Adobe) required
• Verifiable safe work history
