We are seeking someone who can:
• Manage the development, design or construction of energy conservation projects to ensure budgets and timelines are met.
• Identify energy saving opportunities and make recommendations to optimize energy efficiencies.
• Work with various commercial energy modelling programs to assess cost effectiveness, regulatory compliance, energy optimization, and performance.
• Work in collaboration with lenders and project teams to develop energy models and reports that are required for programs such as CMHC and provincial programs to maximize incentives offered through the MLI Select Program.
• Conduct energy audits to evaluate energy use, costs and conservation methods.
• Prepare technical and operational project reports to share with clients.

The ideal candidate for the Energy Engineer role will have:
• Minimum 3 years demonstrated experience with energy modelling in the commercial or high-rise residential sectors.
• Proficient knowledge in various energy modelling software such as Red Screen, E-Quest, Energy Plus, MLI Select.
• P.Eng. designation.
• Strong understanding of Canadian building codes and creating code comparison energy models and reports for clients.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive in nature, keen on attention to detail, self-directed and results oriented.
