Job Overview

We seek a highly skilled Energy Engineer to join our Los Angeles, CA team. This role focuses on designing, optimizing, and implementing energy-efficient mechanical systems in commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Title-24 compliance, energy modeling, and sustainable design solutions. You'll work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop high-performance building systems that meet California energy standards and enhance overall project efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
• Independently complete Title-24 Reports and energy models, ensuring compliance with California energy efficiency standards.
• Utilize EnergyPro software to analyze and optimize energy performance, supporting client sustainability goals.
• Apply AutoCAD and BIM tools to coordinate HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, ensuring seamless integration in commercial projects.
• Provide technical support during construction, ensuring energy-efficient designs are implemented effectively.
• Conduct value engineering assessments to optimize costs while maintaining energy efficiency and project feasibility.
• Manage multiple projects, maintaining budgets, schedules, and quality standards throughout the design and construction process.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to drive energy innovation and sustainable building practices.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Proven experience completing Title-24 Reports and energy modeling independently.
• Hands-on proficiency with EnergyPro software and AutoCAD drafting.
• Strong understanding of architectural integration with HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Knowledge of LEED certification and sustainability best practices is a plus.
• Additional certifications such as Certified Energy Analyst (CEA) or Certified Energy Plans Examiner (CEPE) are highly desirable.
• Local and stable work history preferred.
