About the Role
Drive innovation in energy engineering and sustainability solutions for Global Facility Solutions (GFS), an Exigent operating company focused on optimizing building performance across commercial and government sectors. This dynamic technical role offers the unique opportunity to:

Key Responsibilities
Energy Analysis & Auditing (45%)
• Conduct comprehensive building energy audits
• Analyze HVAC, water, and building envelope systems
• Identify and evaluate energy conservation measures (ECMs)
• Perform energy modeling and financial analysis
• Develop retrofit recommendations based on operational and environmental impacts
Technical Project Execution (30%)
• Implement commissioning and retro-commissioning plans
• Set up BAS trends and data logging systems
• Analyze collected performance data
• Support renewable energy evaluations
• Guide clients through utility rebate programs
• Ensure high-quality deliverable preparation
• Develop investment grade audit reports
Client Management & Development (15%)
• Maintain key customer relationships
• Monitor project budgets and timelines
• Create proposals for audits
• Present technical findings to stakeholders
Sustainability Leadership (10%)
• Support ESG program development
• Evaluate resilience opportunities
• Collaborate across engineering and sustainability teams
• Research emerging technologies and best practices
• Contribute to thought leadership initiatives
What We're Looking For:
• 3+ Years Energy Experience: Proven track record in energy engineering, building systems analysis, and sustainability projects.
• Technical Excellence: Strong proficiency in energy modeling software (eQUEST, EnergyPlus), AutoCAD, and MS Office suite.
• Project Leadership: Experience managing complex energy initiatives and coordinating with diverse stakeholders.
• Analytical Expert: Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills with focus on data-driven solutions.
• Client Focus: Excellence in written and verbal communication with ability to translate technical concepts for various audiences.
• Educational Requirements:
• BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Electrical, Architectural, Environmental, Energy Studies, Sustainability)
• FE/EIT certification preferred
• S. Citizenship REQUIRED
