Energy Engineer - Industrial Location: Athens, GA | Type: Full-Time, On-Site (M–F)The Mission

Climeaction is seeking a hands-on Energy Engineer - Industrial to lead our Climate Action as a Service (CAaaS®) program at a premier Life Science facility in Athens. You won't just be consulting from afar, you'll be embedded on-site, driving real-world decarbonization and utility optimization.
The Work
• Optimize Systems: Mastermind energy performance for HVAC, chillers, boilers, steam, and compressed air.
• Analyze Act: Run deep-dive assessments, build energy baselines, and turn data into engineering wins.
• Lead Projects: Take charge of scoping, technical reviews, vendor coordination, and commissioning.
• Manage Energy: Drive ISO 50001-style management and unlock utility rebates to fund progress.
• Collaborate: Partner with facility teams and Climeaction’s global experts to hit aggressive climate goals.

The Profile
• Experience: 5+ years in industrial/manufacturing energy systems.
• Technical Edge: Expert-level knowledge of major utilities (HVAC, Steam, Chillers, Air).
• Education: B.S. in Mechanical, Electrical, or Energy Engineering.
• Toolkit: Pro at data analysis, technical writing, and stakeholder management.
• Bonus Points: ISO 50001 experience or a track record with utility incentive programs.
