Energy Efficiency VISTA Facilitator

The Energy Efficiency VISTA Facilitator position at AmeriCorps in Baltimore, MD involves identifying contractors, scheduling trainings, determining customer eligibility, and creating outreach materials. VISTA members will support low to moderate-income households by improving access to resources and educating them on home health benefits. This full-time role requires some college education and offers various program benefits, including training and health coverage.
The VISTA members will contribute to the goals of this project by working to identify contractors for this new program, scheduling contractors training and meetings, determining customers income eligibility, collecting supportive documents, processing applications and maintaining an active pipeline. The VISTA members will build capacity in creating outreach, marketing, and communication tools to promote our programming efforts. These materials are aimed at educating borrowers on health benefits of improving their homes. VISTA members will help alleviate the issues that households with low-moderate income have been facing due to financial problems and limited access to resources.
