Overview:

Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has an exciting opportunity for a Building Performance Engineer. We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team and contribute to the design of high-performance buildings.

Responsibilities:
• Develop energy analysis and building performance design consulting for commercial new construction projects and major renovations.
• Stay up-to-date with current ASHRAE guidelines and effectively communicate them to clients.
• Analyze and understand construction documents, floor plans, specifications, and details.
• Document and submit projects for LEED, permit, Unified Facilities Criteria, or Federal Guiding Principles.

Qualifications:
• A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or architecture from an accredited four-year college or university.
• A minimum of 0-1 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with building energy modeling using OpenStudio / EnergyPlus.
• Proficiency in building information model and CAD software (REVIT and Sketchup).
