We are looking for a talented individual…
To join our team! CLEAResult’s Strategic Energy Management (SEM) team is expanding, and has a new opportunity for the position of Energy Efficiency Consultant. As a Consultant you will guide energy teams in identifying, evaluating, and implementing energy efficiency activities in commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities. You may work with one or multiple clients. The primary objective of this position is to help program participants apply the principles of continuous improvement to energy management through group workshops and individual coaching. SEM programs run on 12-month cycles and are typically multi-year. As a consultant you may work with up to 15 participants for several years, therefore the ability to build strong relationships is essential to ensure long-term engagement and success. The SEM team has dedicated data and statistical analysts to develop energy models; however, the consultant must understand and be able to explain the models to program participants. Successful candidates have familiarity with commercial and industrial equipment, systems, and processes. Experience with operational, maintenance, process and behavioral energy efficiency projects at a technical level is preferred. Travel to lead workshops and visit individual sites to conduct energy scans is required.
Here at CLEAResult, you will fit right in with our energetic team if you are resourceful, resilient, and kind.
For this opportunity, you’re a great fit if you can…
• Motivate and coach plant/facility management and teams
• Guide the development of overall continuous improvement plans
• Facilitate training workshops and onsite energy audits and other one-on-one events
• Understand commercial and industrial equipment and systems to identify and request appropriate data used for statistical analysis
• Write reports for technical and non-technical audiences
• Conduct site walk-throughs to identify energy savings opportunities
• Support energy teams in conducting employee engagement campaigns to promote energy-saving practices and sustainability goals
In this exciting career opportunity, you will have…
• 2+ years professional experience in energy efficiency or utility programs
