Role Description

This is a full-time role for an Energy Consultant based in Newcastle Upon Tyne with some work from home. The Energy Consultant will be responsible for providing expert energy consultancy services, managing energy portfolios, and supporting clients in contract procurement and management. Day-to-day tasks include sourcing and leading PPA projects, promoting sustainable energy solutions, and fostering strong client and supplier relationships. Additional responsibilities involve dispute management and helping clients achieve their environmental goals.

Qualifications
• Consulting skills with a focus on providing expert advice and building client relationships
• Energy Management and Energy Industry knowledge including contract procurement and sustainable solutions
• Sales skills with the ability to secure favorable commercial agreements
• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage complex multi-site portfolios
• Proficiency in proactive and transparent communication for dispute resolution
• Experience in promoting and implementing green and environmentally-friendly practices
• Bachelor’s degree in Energy Management, Business, or a related field
• Prior experience in the energy sector or a similar consultancy role is a plus
