Job Description

Tetra Tech is seeking a Senior Energy Consultant / Auditor / RCx Engineer with a salary range of $100,000 to $130,000. The role involves conducting energy studies, identifying conservation opportunities, and developing technical reports. What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
• Conduct energy resilience studies and perform investigations of HVAC and energy management systems
• Identify energy conservation opportunities and recommend advanced control strategies
• Develop technical reports and energy savings estimates through building energy modeling
• Conduct facility audits and deliver technical presentations to clients
• Collaborate with team members to manage project deliverables and exceed client expectations

What is Required (Qualifications):
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in energy resilience, consulting, auditing, or retro-commissioning engineering
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related energy field, or equivalent experience
• Strong background in HVAC systems and controls
• Ability to analyze energy and utilities data and produce technically correct reports
• U.S. citizenship required; ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
• Experience with project development and life-cycle cost analysis
• Familiarity with eQUEST, Energy Pro, or other energy modeling software
• Possession of certifications such as Certified Energy Manager (CEM) or Certified Building Commissioning Professional (CBCP)
• Prior experience working at Federal or Department of Defense facilities
