Responsibilities and Duties

Reporting To The Operations Manager, You Will

Lead and manage a team of Energy Centre Engineers, ensuring high performance and fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.

Oversee all operations and maintenance activities, ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient running of energy centre assets.

Provide visible leadership in health and safety, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and company standards.

Develop and implement long-term operational strategies to optimise performance and asset reliability.

Manage maintenance contracts, ensuring all planned and reactive maintenance activities are delivered effectively.

Control operational budgets and drive cost efficiency across the sites.

Conduct risk assessments and ensure technical governance and compliance.

Professional Qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

ONC (Ordinary Certificate) or equivalent qualification in engineering, or significant relevant experience.

IOSH or equivalent safety qualification.

Authorised Engineer status.

Strong knowledge of hazard identification, risk assessment, and risk management.

Understanding of the commercial impact of operations and maintenance activities.

Personal Skills
