Job Description / Responsibility
• Conduct energy benchmarking and detailed KPI analysis to identify inefficiencies and savings opportunities.
• Track and report energy consumption and GHG emissions across all manufacturing units.
• Identify energy audit requirements and coordinate third-party audits where necessary.
• Follow up on existing energy audit reports and ensure the implementation of recommendations.
• Develop and execute energy reduction action plans and present findings to management.
• Identify and eliminate energy misuse across operations through continuous monitoring.
• Analyze energy cost structures and implement energy-saving measures to optimize costs.
• Identify opportunities for low-cost/no-cost energy efficiency improvements and support capital investment projects for long-term cost savings.
• Lead and support the companys decarbonization initiatives in alignment with global frameworks.<br>• Monitor and follow up on existing energy & climate programs such as SBTi, MCAP, PaCT, Fashion Forward, and 3E, ensuring progress toward commitments.<br>• Develop and align energy & GHG reduction targets with company and brand requirements.<br>• Coordinate and update buyers and stakeholders regarding energy and climate action progress.<br>• Support the transition to renewable energy and low-carbon technologies.<br>• Work closely with factory teams to implement energy efficiency initiatives.<br>• Train and guide factory utility and maintenance teams on energy conservation and best practices.<br>• Provide regular updates and reports to senior management and buyers on energy performance.<br><br>Educational Requirements<br>• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering<br>• SREDA Certified Energy Manager/Auditor or equivalent International Certified Energy Auditor is highly preferred.<br>• Energy Management, or a related field.<br>• An advanced degree in Energy Management is a plus.<br>• Skills Required: Power Generation, Environment, Health Safety and Environment, Environmental Compliance, Energy Management, Social Compliance and Sustainability.<br><br>Experience Requirements<br>• 10 to 12 year(s)<br>• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Multinational Companies, Garments, Textile, Group of Companies<br><br>Additional Requirements<br>• Experienced in energy & GHG management in the garments/textile industry.<br>• Hands-on experience in energy audits, GHG reduction strategies, and decarbonization programs.<br>• Experience in managing energy cost-saving projects and aligning with buyers climate roadmaps.
• Strong analytical skills with expertise in energy benchmarking, KPI tracking, and reporting.
• Knowledge of international sustainability programs such as SBTi, MCAP, PaCT, and ZDHC.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills to interact with buyers and stakeholders.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and travel to factory locations as required.
