FlexiDAO is seeking an Energy & Carbon Policy Analyst Intern in Valencia, Spain. The role involves analyzing global energy and carbon accounting trends, developing research materials, and engaging with industry platforms. Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Business Administration and a strong interest in sustainability. The internship offers hands-on experience in carbon accounting and energy policy, while requiring an educational agreement with a university.
ROLE OVERVIEW

The Energy and Carbon Policy Analyst Intern plays a vital role in supporting Flexidao's Partnerships and Policy Lead. This individual analyses and tracks global trends in energy and carbon accounting, contributes to thought leadership initiatives, and supports company operations with industry platforms, associations, and advocacy groups.

This is an internship position. All applicants must sign an educational agreement with their university to be eligible.
YOUR CHALLENGE

• Policy and Market Trend Analysis: Track, research, and analyse global voluntary and mandatory energy and carbon accounting trends, standards & policies
• Develop concise materials to update Product and Sales teams on market trends
• Provide insights to guide the Partnerships and Policy Lead on emerging policy frameworks
RESEARCH AND CONTENT DEVELOPMENT
• Contribute to developing original research, including white papers, blog articles, reports, and workshops, showcasing Flexidao's energy and carbon policy expertise
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate research insights into external-facing materials
PLATFORM AND ASSOCIATION ENGAGEMENT

• Manage operations related to Flexidao's memberships and engagement with industry platforms and associations
• Support the Head of Partnerships & Policy and Chief Product Officer to ensure regular participation and contributions to these platforms' thought leadership and industry discussions
MUST-HAVES
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management
• Excellent research and analytical skills
• Strong interest in carbon accounting (GHGP Scope 2), energy and carbon markets, and corporate sustainability trends
NICE-TO-HAVE

• Currently pursuing an MSc degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Energy Policy, or a related field
• Knowledge of clean energy industry platforms such as ClimateGroup, RE-Source, CEBA, RECS Energy Certificate Association, Eurelectric, etc.
