Summary:

Under close supervision of the shop lead the position includes; Lay out, build, test, troubleshoot, repair, and modify developmental and production electronic components, parts, equipment, and systems, such as computer equipment, control instrumentation, test equipment, applying principles and theories of electronics, electrical circuitry, electronic and electrical testing.

Qualifications:

• A High School Diploma or General Education Degree and 2 or more years of related experience is required.
• The ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematic drawings, and engineering instructions for assembling electronics units.
• Experience with mechanical fabrication, basic machining skills, and hardware assembly are a plus.
