Energy Select is seeking an Electrician in Leonardtown, MD, to install solar PV systems for residential and commercial projects. Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as an Electrician. In this role, you will take charge of the electrical wiring and full execution of solar PV systems for residential and commercial projects. You will follow engineered plans to install and connect systems safely and efficiently, ensuring all work meets code and company standards. Responsibilities can also include performing main service panel (MSP) upgrades, wiring electric vehicle (EV) charging stations, troubleshooting electrical issues, and managing the safe interconnection of systems to the grid. This position requires a solid understanding of electrical systems, the ability to teach and direct other team members, and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities:
• Execute the installation of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems on residential and commercial properties from start to finish, including site preparation, racking, module placement, wiring, and final system commissioning.
• As the lead installer and electrician you will be responsible for the main service panel tie-in, mounting and wiring of associated electrical equipment, sub-panel installation when necessary, and tie-in of battery storage systems and EV chargers
• Perform additional electrical work as necessary to make installation of the PV system possible
• Ensure full compliance with local building and electrical codes, safety standards, and all project specifications to successfully pass both county and utility inspections.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any technical or installation-related issues that arise including issues relating to existing site conditions
• Coordinate daily on-site activities, efficiently managing time, materials, and personnel to optimize workflow and consistently meet or exceed project deadlines.
• Represent Energy Select in a professional, courteous, and customer-focused manner at all times, ensuring a positive experience for clients and partners.

Qualifications:
• Proven track record of successfully leading or installing PV installation projects or relevant electrical experience with knowledge of wiring , AC/DC power supply, pulling wire, working with Main Service Panels, and running conduit
• Proficient in the use of hand and power tools required for installation.
• Electrical license or certification is a plus.
• Knowledge or certifications in Enphase PV systems are a plus
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think on your feet.
• Capacity to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
• Knowledge of and adherence to industry safety standards.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Need reliable transportation to job sites throughout Southern Maryland. Energy Select services the surrounding area including: St. Mary’s County, Charles County, PG County, Calvert County, Anne Arundel County

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
