Electrical Engineering Lead- Microelectronics

Verterra Energy is seeking an Electrical Engineering Lead in New Brighton, MN, to manage the electrical team and develop water-power technology. We're seeking an Electrical Engineering Manager with a broad range of experience including power electronics, low and medium power electronics, distribution as well as micro electronics and circuit board design. The ideal candidate will be proficient in electrical system design and analysis, including power electronics and energy storage systems.

Requirements
• U.S. citizens only
• Bachelors or an advanced degree in a related engineering discipline
• 10+ years professional experience
• At least 2 years of experience managing engineers
• Ability to contribute as an IC in respect to power electronics, microelectronics or a combination of the two.
• Experience with motors or generators
• Understanding of both AC and DC electrical systems
• PV power generation experience is a plus
• Ability to specify electrical system components including cables and connectors

$150,000 - $250,000 USD
