• Work closely with engineers, technologists, and project managers to integrate electrical systems into broader infrastructure designs.
• Build trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders by delivering high-quality technical solutions and clear communication.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead the preparation of electrical design packages and technical specifications.
• Oversee coordination with utilities, contractors, and sub-consultants.
• Provide technical guidance during construction, including reviews of shop drawings and site progress.
• Support proposal development, cost estimating, and permitting activities.
• Conduct facility condition assessments and recommend improvements.
• Review and validate work prepared by others to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Mentor junior engineers and technologists.

What Success Looks Like in This Role
• Technical Delivery: Electrical designs are accurate, code-compliant, and aligned with project requirements.
• Client Impact: Projects move smoothly through design and construction with satisfied clients and stakeholders.
• Collaboration: You work seamlessly across disciplines and project teams, contributing to a supportive and productive culture.
• Leadership: You guide junior engineers and technologists, raising the overall quality of the team’s work.
• Value Creation: Your designs reduce risk, improve constructability, and deliver lasting value to clients and communities.

What You Bring
• P.Eng. designation in Ontario
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in electrical design and project delivery.
• Strong knowledge of the CEC, OESC, and National/Ontario Building Codes.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD (Revit an asset).
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid Ontario driver’s license and access to a vehicle.

Stand-Out Qualities Include

• Experience with AGI32 and/or Visual lighting software.
• Proven ability to lead client meetings and drive projects from concept through completion.
