Job Purpose:

The role of a Trainer for Electric Vehicle Service Technicians involves designing, implementing, and delivering training programs to educate technicians on EV technology, safety procedures, and best practices for servicing electric vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop training curricula covering topics related to electric vehicles, including EV systems, battery technology, charging infrastructure, and safety protocols.
• Conduct training sessions, workshops, and practical demonstrations to educate technicians on EV maintenance, diagnostics, and repair techniques.
• Create training materials, including manuals, presentations, and videos, to support the training program.
• Maintain and update training materials to reflect the latest advancements in EV technology.
• Ensure that technicians understand and follow safety procedures when working with high-voltage EV systems.
• Provide instruction on handling emergency situations involving EVs safely.
• Offer ongoing technical support and guidance to technicians to address questions or challenges they encounter during EV servicing.
• Develop and administer assessments to evaluate the proficiency of trainees.
• Issue certifications to technicians who successfully complete the training program.

Qualifications & Experience:
• A bachelor's degree in ITI, Mechanic Motor Vehicle/Mechanic Auto Electrical and Electronics, or Diploma in Automobile is required.
• At least 4 years of experience in training, teaching, and mentoring is necessary.
• Strong understanding of teaching and engaging trainees is essential.
