We are looking for a skilled Electric Grid Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting system impact assessments of proposed changes to generation and overseeing the scoping, completion, and approval of transmission system impact studies.

Key Responsibilities
• Conduct system impact assessments of proposed changes to generation, which may involve steady state, transient stability, and electromagnetic transient analyses.
• Oversee the scoping, completion, and approval of transmission system impact studies for distributed energy resources proposing to connect to the distribution system.
• Assist in the analysis and preparation of reports related to transmission system studies.
• Develop recommendations for New England regional standards and study practices.

Requirements
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Power Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Electrical & Computer Systems Engineering is required. Master's Degree preferred.
• Experience in electric power system network analysis, transmission planning, and assessment techniques, specifically transient stability analysis using PSS/E, and Electromagnetic Transients analyses using PSCAD.
• Proficiency with Python or other similar scripting language.
• Strong understanding of control theory and power system dynamics.
