Education (and Animal Care) Trainee

Hawk Mountain Sanctuary is offering an Education Traineeship in Kempton, PA, aimed at those pursuing careers in conservation education or biological sciences. Trainees will gain hands-on experience with raptors, learn animal husbandry, and develop educational programs for youth in the Summer Nature Camp. This internship provides an opportunity to build skills at a leading raptor conservation facility.

Students participating in these internships have the opportunities to develop job skills at a world-class raptor conservation and education facility. Experience working hands-on with our collection of non-releasable raptors and learn more about animal husbandry, raptor enrichment, and have the opportunity to present our live education ambassadors in programs for the public.
