Role: Ecologist and Mangrove Expert

Location: West Bengal and Odisha coast

Number of Positions: Four

Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

Lead restoration projects, which include planning, implementation, and monitoring.

Conduct ecological assessments and prepare technical reports on mangrove, aquatic, and coastal ecosystems.

Collaborate with local communities to integrate traditional knowledge into conservation strategies.

Develop innovative solutions for mangrove, aquatic, and coastal ecosystem restoration.

Provide scientific input for project development and implementation.

Qualifications:

Master's/PhD in Ecology, Environmental Science, Forestry, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in mangrove restoration and coastal and aquatic ecosystem management.

Expertise in biodiversity assessments.

Proficiency in GIS and data analysis tools is an advantage.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.
