Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our efforts in sustainable rangeland management. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including ranchers, landowners, and regulatory agencies, to develop and implement effective strategies for maintaining the ecological integrity of Arizona's rangelands.
Main Responsibilities
• Develop and facilitate complex networks of participants to address rangeland management challenges.
• Design and deliver educational programs to address identified needs and promote problem-solving research.
• Lead research initiatives focused on evidence-based decision-making to support natural resource-dependent communities.
Requirements
• Ph.D. in a relevant field such as Natural Resources, Rangeland Ecology and Management, or Environmental Policy.
• 10 years of experience in rangeland management, with expertise in public and state land grazing issues.
• Experience working with diverse groups of stakeholders to support sustainable rangeland stewardship.
