Role Overview

This specialist role focuses on delivering high-quality biodiversity net gain services, ensuring compliance with UK legislation and policy. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of biodiversity net gain principles, policies, and laws, and be able to effectively communicate these to internal and external stakeholders.
• Main Responsibilities:
• Lead the development of biodiversity net gain strategies and plans for projects, ensuring alignment with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize biodiversity net gain opportunities, develop implementation plans, and monitor progress.
• Provide expert advice on habitat classification, botany skills, and condition assessments to inform biodiversity net gain decisions.
• Engage with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies, to ensure effective communication and collaboration on biodiversity net gain initiatives.
