EcoAmbassador

The EcoAmbassador internship at Howard EcoWorks is a paid summer program for high school students (ages 16-18) in Howard County, MD. Participants will engage with local communities to address environmental issues and promote sustainability. They will develop skills in public speaking, community outreach, and project management while collaborating with peers. The internship runs from June 23 to August 15, 2025.
The EcoAmbassadors program is a paid summer internship geared towards high school students interested in environmental stewardship. Participants work with their local communities to address environmental concerns by implementing projects to promote sustainable change in Howard County. The program will give participants an opportunity to gain expertise in a variety of environmental topics, to engage with environmentally focused youth across the county, and to develop skills such as public speaking, community outreach, and project management. Program Eligibility: This program is open to students attending a High School (public or private) in Howard County. Must be ages 16 - 18 and can be a graduate of 2025.
