Role Description
EcoRise is hiring a remote Eco-Strategist Intern for a full-time internship. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of nature-integrated workspace solutions from anywhere in India.
As an Eco-Strategist Intern, you will collaborate directly with the founding team to support a range of projects that combine sustainability, plant-based design, and workplace wellbeing. Depending on your strengths, your responsibilities may include market and design research, content development, concept visualization, workshop preparation, and strategic support for client-facing initiatives.
This internship is designed to be both impactful and flexible. You will play an active role in shaping how organizations experience eco-conscious workspaces, while gaining real-world exposure to early-stage business building, sustainable design thinking, and environmental innovation.
The ideal candidate is proactive, adaptable, and passionate about creating greener, healthier spaces.
Qualifications
• Interest in sustainability, plants, interior design, or workplace wellbeing
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Basic design or layout skills (e.g., Canva, PowerPoint, Figma, or Adobe tools)
• Comfortable working independently in a remote setting
• Organized, reliable, and proactive in completing tasks
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Architecture, Design, Environmental Studies, Communications, or a related field
• Bonus: Prior experience with workshops, social media content, or client-focused materials
Please submit a 1-minute introductory video as part of your application to anushka@eco-rise.com
• In the first 30 seconds, introduce yourself—your background, interests, and what you're currently studying or working on.
• In the next 30 seconds, share one example of sustainability-related work, project, or idea that has inspired you, and why it resonated with you.
You can record the video using your phone or laptop—don’t worry about production quality. We're more interested in your perspective, clarity, and authenticity.
