ESG and Sustainability Internship

Laisar Management Group is seeking an ESG and Sustainability Intern to assist with research and strategic planning in sustainability practices. The role involves analyzing corporate activities, providing recommendations, and supporting sustainability projects. Candidates should be pursuing a relevant undergraduate degree and possess strong analytical and communication skills. The internship offers hands-on experience in a professional environment, with a start date in July 2025. The position requires in-person attendance.

Job Summary

We are looking for a talented dynamic, self-starter ESG and Sustainability Intern to assist in research and strategic planning efforts. This internship is an excellent opportunity for hands-on experience in sustainability and ESG practices within a U.S. and global operations context while working in a casual professional work environment. The Intern will review/analyze corporate activities and provide recommendations related to enhance the company's sustainability/ESG strategy, methods, framework, and related tools to support clients in achieving their sustainability/ ESG objectives. The Intern will work independently and in a team to fulfill organizational goals and initiatives related to ESG and Sustainability projects and corporate strategy.

Qualifications
• College Sophomore, Junior, or Senior currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Environmental Sciences, Data Analytics, Sustainability, Engineering, or other related disciplines
• Interest in developing an understanding or applying previous knowledge towards the topics of corporate sustainability, international business, and/or environmental disclosure
• High level of commitment to developing excellence in technical and/or business skills
• Effective analytical, planning, and organizational skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities
• As an Intern, you will report to and take direction from the ESG and Sustainability Team Lead
• ESG data management, analysis, and reporting for global operations in cooperation with cross-cutting teams
• Assist with the Company's work with annual sustainability reporting for clients
• Desk-based and internet research related to ESG and sustainability topics
• Provide general support for operational and sustainability needs

Start Date: July 2025

Hours: 20-40 hours/week, including weekly planning meeting with supervisor

Compensation: $20/hour

• Bachelor’s (Preferred)
