Job Description

Locus Robotics is seeking a Summer 2025 ESG & Sustainability Intern in Wilmington, MA. The role involves analyzing greenhouse gas emissions, supporting emissions tracking evaluations, and assisting with ESG reporting. Candidates should be rising seniors or recent graduates in Environmental Science or related fields, with strong organizational skills and a passion for sustainability. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.

Our solution helps warehouse owners attain 2-3X efficiency over cart-picking operations by empowering pickers to work collaboratively with our robots, while integrating with the operator's Warehouse Management System and using and optimizing existing facility infrastructure. Join our team as an ESG & Sustainability Intern and contribute to advancing Locus Robotics' Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives. This is a hands-on opportunity to learn about corporate sustainability while helping shape our company's environmental strategy and reporting processes.

Responsibilities
• Analyze utility bills and other data to calculate Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions.
• Support evaluations of emissions tracking tools..
• Help align ESG efforts with global reporting frameworks.
• Assist in maintaining and organizing our ESG SharePoint site.
• Collaborate on projects to enhance Locus Robotics' sustainability score.

Qualifications
• Rising senior or post-grad student (as of June 2025) in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Interest in corporate sustainability and ESG topics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Proficient English written and verbal communications skills required to collaborate effectively with internal and external teams.
