About the position

Responsibilities
• Maintain a clean and disinfected environment to prevent the spread of infections.

• Ensure patient and visitor comfort by keeping rooms tidy.

• Respond to requests for assistance from patients and visitors.

• Perform cleaning activities in accordance with infection control guidelines.

• Dust and disinfect wall surfaces, floors, ledges, and furniture.

• Handle soiled linen, regular waste, and medical waste safely.

• Follow directives from the Environmental Services management team regarding work assignments and areas needing improvement.

• Maintain and operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively.

• Report any safety issues discovered promptly to the supervisor.

• Assist in floor care processes as needed.
