Responsibilities
• Serve as Working Supervisor to the Field Operations Section staff in the Bureau of Water.

• Direct highly technical site inspections and investigations.

• Provide complex technical support for the enforcement process.
,
• Review highly complex and technical scientific documents.
,
• Conduct meetings and communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
,
• Interpret and explain Agency policies and water pollution control regulations.

• Perform other duties as required or assigned.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in physical, life, or environmental sciences, engineering, or geology.

• Four years of professional experience in environmental protection or a related field.

• Experience in conducting compliance inspections of facilities associated with the NPDES water pollution control program.

• Experience in drafting technical inspection reports.
,
• Experience in applying water pollution control laws and regulations.

• Experience in reviewing technical documents associated with NPDES and State water pollution control programs.

• Experience in analyzing and interpreting complex scientific data.
Nice-to-haves
• Experience in establishing and maintaining liaison with government officials and facility operators.

• Ability to explain water pollution control laws to stakeholders.
