Junior Achievement North is seeking a full-time ELC Coordinator for Finance Park/Dream Accelerator in St Paul, MN. The role involves leading simulations, ensuring effective daily operations, supporting volunteers, and enhancing student experiences. FTE Status: Full-time, non-exempt, benefits available (see below)
Compensation Range: $20-22 per hour

POSITION SUMMARY
This position supports the smooth implementation of JA ELC programs with an emphasis on JA Finance Park and JA Dream Accelerator. The ELC full-time coordinator ensures that the day-to-day activities in the learning labs are running effectively and in an efficient way.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Lead Finance Park and/or Dream Accelerators simulations 3-4 days per week.
• Curate and sustain positive experiences for students, teachers and volunteers.
• Compete daily checklist and delegate to other program staff as needed to ensure that all required tasks are completed before students arrive, during program simulations and during clean-up and lab reset.
• Lead volunteer orientations and support volunteers throughout the program experience.
• Be the primary point of contact for teachers, staff, and volunteers during simulations.
• Develop a deep understanding of JA Finance Park and JA Dream Accelerator shops, activities and behind-the-scenes structure of the experience.
• Identify opportunities for simulation experience enhancements regarding diverse student's needs, tech needs, updates to simulation and the physical space.
• Solve common issues that arise during simulations, including navigating technology issues.
• Collaborate with the JA Programs team to meet programmatic and organizational goals.
• Be cross trained and support BizTown, Mobile Finance Park and Mobile Dream Accelerator as needed.
• Other tasks as assigned.
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
· Experience working with ethnically diverse populations.
· Experience working with youth.
· Skilled in verbal and written conversations.
· Strong organizational/planning skills.
· Computer literacy.
- Some Metro travel. A Driver’s License is required.
