EHSS Coordinator

Leddy Group is seeking an EHSS Coordinator in Laconia, NH, to support their Environmental, Health, Safety, and Sustainability program. Responsibilities include developing EHSS strategies, documenting workplace incidents, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Candidates should have over 2 years of relevant experience, strong communication skills, and knowledge of safety regulations. This is a full-time, direct-hire position with excellent benefits, requiring local residency in Northern New England.
Our well-established Laconia, NH client is seeking an EHSS Coordinator to help facilitate compliance with their Environmental, Health, Safety, and Sustainability program. This direct-hire role offers excellent benefits and a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities of the EHSS Coordinator
• Assist site in EHSS program development
• Document, investigate, and help resolve workplace incidents in collaboration with site leadership
• Develop and implement strategies to reduce or eliminate risk
• Assist in identifying new equipment and manufacturing technologies to improve safety
• Update and maintain EHSS procedures and training/certification programs
• Facilitate EHSS meetings, awareness campaigns, etc.
• Maintain safety documentation
• Ensure compliance with company policies and federal, state, and local regulations

Qualifications of the EHSS Coordinator
• 2+ years of experience in Environmental, Health, Safety, and Sustainability roles
• Experience in manufacturing maintenance environments
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation, and negotiating skills
• Must be able to work within a team structure to help develop and implement EHSS programs
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
• Must have basic knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations (e.g. EPA and OSHA)
