Chart Industries is hiring an EHS Manager for the APAC region, based in Singapore. The role involves developing and managing EHS programs across multiple sites, ensuring compliance with regulations, and fostering a safety culture. Responsibilities include conducting audits, incident investigations, and delivering training. Candidates should have a relevant degree, at least 7 years of EHS management experience, and strong communication skills.
What Will You Do?
The Sub Regional EHS Manager for APAC is responsible for developing, implementing and managing environmental, health and safety (EHS) programs across multiple sites within a defined sub-region for APAC. This role ensures compliance with local legislations and company policies, promotes a strong safety culture and drives continuous improvement in EHS performance.
• Ensure compliance with all legislations and EHS regulations
• Develop and implement EHS programs and initiatives aligned with corporate and regional strategies
• Adapt global EHS programs to meet local regulatory requirements and site specific needs
• Establish and maintain EHS management systems (eg. ISO 14001, ISO 45001)
• Monitor changes in regulations and update programs accordingly
• Manage permits and licenses related to environmental and safety aspects
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to verify compliance
• Develop and implement risk mitigation controls.
• Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis
• Develop and implement corrective/preventive actions
• Promote a strong safety culture through training, communication and engagement activities
• Develop and deliver EHS training to employees at all levels
• Foster employee involvement activities
• Track and analyze EHS performance metrics
• Prepare and present regular reports on EHS performance
Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…
Your work location is in Singapore
Your Experience Should Be...
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering or related field
Min 7 years of experience in EHS Management with experience in managing mutiple sites
In depth knowledge of local EHS regulations
Excellent communication skills and problem solving skills
Willingness to travel within the sub-region
Ablity to influence change and drive change
Certification in EHS (CSP,ASP etc)
