Job Description
About the role:
As the Environmental, Health and Safety Management Systems Lead you develop and implement comprehensive environmental health and safety programs. You will ensure compliance with legislative and organizational requirements, safeguarding the environment and protecting lives and assets. By leading teams and projects, you will contribute to Takeda's mission of fostering a safe and sustainable environment. You will report to the Head, EHS Strategy and Business Excellence.
How you will contribute:
• Lead and manage the development and implementation of environmental health and safety programs
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legislative and organizational requirements
• Develop and maintain processes for environmental accident investigation and corrective actions
• Deliver training and development programs to enhance employee awareness and skills
• Maintain relationships with community and environmental stakeholders
• Influence organizational goals and policies related to environmental health and safety
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
• Degree in life sciences, engineering, chemical engineering or similar field
• 7+ years of experience in Pharmaceutical, Biopharmaceutical, or associated industry
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, regulatory agencies and vendors
• Previous experience in program management and demonstrated application of health and safety practices.

Lexington, MA
U.S. Base Salary Range:
$153,600.00 - $241,340.00
The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/ or long-term incentives. U.S. based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S. based employees are also eligible to receive, per calendar year, up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible to accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
