Job Description
Danaher is seeking an EHS Coordinator in Bengaluru, India, to support environmental, health, and safety programs. • We are currently seeking an EHS Coordinator who will be responsible for providing comprehensive support for developing, implementing, and managing the company's environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure compliance with regulations and promote a safe working environment, Support the Global and site EHS leader in review the SOP and assessments, Audit support, Gensuite SPOC and Ecovadis
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Gensuite, Ecovadis, Master Control, This role involves maintaining data integrity, entering data, conducting analysis, and reporting at both site and corporate levels. As the main point of contact for Bec LS, the EHS System Owner supports operations and field services, ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, assists with troubleshooting system issues, and manages data analysis for safe driving tools.
EHS playbook, oversee the Global EHS training project using Master Control, and prepare and submit assessments and reports for Ecovadis and FM Global. The role includes managing chemical substance awareness projects and BSL3 and BSL4 lab projects, ensuring that all documentation is created and routed to relevant sites.
Furthermore, the EHS System Owner reviews and updates Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the BDC site and supports operations in addressing EHS issues. They conduct safety inspections, participate in safety committees, and ensure compliance with OSHA reporting requirements. Through these activities, the EHS System Owner plays a crucial role in maintaining a safe and compliant work environment, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and fostering effective communication across the organization.
The required qualifications for the job include:
• Bachelor’s degree (Mechanical/Environmental Science) with 4--5 years of related work experience OR
• Qualified work experience in EHS, >4 years in manufacturing Industrial setup
• Computer experience: Office, especially Excel, Power Point. Gensuite
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
• EHS skills to handle multiple task
• Problem solving ability
• Communication skills
• Customer Service orientation
This job is eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
