Your New Company

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Bicycle Mechanic to join a government team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bicycle repair and maintenance, excellent problem-solving skills, and a customer-focused attitude. This role is being offered on a temporary contract, working full-time hours and paying $40 per hour + superannuation.

Your new role
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of bicycles, including road, mountain, and electric bikes.
• Diagnose and fix mechanical issues, ensuring all bikes are safe and in optimal condition.
• Assemble new bicycles and ensure they meet quality standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service, including advising customers on bike care and maintenance.
• Maintain a clean and organized workshop.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest cycling technology and repair techniques.

What You'll Need To Succeed
• Experience in a similar role fixing bikes, preferably e-bikes
• Strong knowledge of bicycle components and repair techniques.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• A passion for cycling and a desire to share that passion with others.
