Star Nursery, Inc. is hiring a full-time Driver-Non CDL Green in Las Vegas, NV. The role involves safely transporting goods, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining vehicle conditions. Position: "DRIVER-NON CDL GREEN"

Our Green Driver is an important role with Star Nursery. The successful delivery of product to residences or job sites leaves the end‑user with the best impression of Star Nursery and its product and services. This is a Safety‑Sensitive position that requires an exceptional driving record and valid credentials to drive our insured vehicles.

Job Description
• Fully understand how to operate and safely drive your assigned vehicle
• Drive vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) under 26,000 lbs.
• Pick-up and safely transport goods, etc. to intended destination
• Ensure contents are properly secured in truck, flatbed or bucket to prevent damage/injury
• Obtain signatures to confirm and complete deliveries
• Assist in mapping driving routes
• Stay on predetermined route and ensure timely transport and delivery
• Communicate with dispatch as needed
• Confirm that the contents of each shipment load match the manifest document
• Perform inspections of your vehicle prior to and following each trip
• Check weather conditions and road reports before departure
• Always ensure your vehicle is kept clean
• Maintain, log and service vehicle as needed (refuel, change oil, tire pressure, repairs, etc.)
• Notify managers of any major maintenance or delivery issues encountered
• Follow delivery schedule and rest at appropriate times
• Adhere to company rules and regulations
• Obey all applicable traffic laws and drive in accordance to the weather/road conditions
• OSHA Safety compliance
• Maintenance of appropriate paperwork
• Pull orders, load and deliver
• Timely delivery of orders
• Transferring merchandise between stores
• Have a valid Driver License with proper endorsements in the applicant’s state of residence
• No current driving record suspension or revocation
• Approved Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) & Pre‑Employment Background checks.
• Ability to drive Manual Transmission Vehicles

Physical Requirements
• Ability to push/pull 50 lbs
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
