About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to serve as Director, Disaster Risk Management, responsible for leading ADB's disaster resilience work in the Asia-Pacific region. This is a key leadership position within the Climate Change and Sustainable Development Department, requiring a strong understanding of multilateral development banks and their strategic objectives in promoting disaster and climate resilience.
• Develop and implement disaster risk management policy and operational frameworks.
• Lead a team of specialists to support operations departments and developing member countries in identifying strategic opportunities to enhance disaster and climate resilience.
• Provide technical guidance and support to operations departments to integrate disaster and climate resilience considerations into regional and country strategies, and project design.
Responsibilities

The Director, Disaster Risk Management, will be responsible for leading ADB's disaster risk management efforts, including:
