Job Description
Join Oracle's Global Sustainability Office as a strategic leader overseeing the critical area of Sustainability Reporting & Engagement. This impactful position will drive Oracle's sustainability communications and regulatory disclosures while fostering internal employee engagement. We're looking for an innovative leader to manage and develop a multidisciplinary team dedicated to our sustainability objectives and commitments, ensuring alignment with corporate growth and global regulatory trends.
This role is based in Nashville, TN. Candidates must reside in or be willing to relocate to Nashville, TN.
Key Responsibilities:
• Inspire, develop, and lead a team that defines and executes Oracle's sustainability reporting and engagement strategy.
• Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of voluntary and regulatory disclosures while maintaining audit readiness and stakeholder alignment.
• Build and manage relationships with external stakeholders, showcasing Oracle's sustainability initiatives and fostering partnerships.
• Develop and implement internal engagement programs that promote sustainability best practices across all business lines.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to deliver consistent sustainability messaging to customers.
• Stay informed on emerging sustainability trends and regulations, transforming insights into strategic initiatives and improvements.
• Drive organizational change to enhance sustainability across Oracle's operations and culture.
• Oversee the effective use of enterprise sustainability platforms for efficient data governance, collection, and validation.
• Align Oracle's sustainability initiatives with overall business strategy and industry benchmarks.
• Lead and nurture a high-performing team, setting clear objectives and pathways for professional growth.
• Identify staffing needs and support the recruitment and onboarding processes to enhance team capabilities.
• Promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and integrity in accordance with Oracle's values.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in sustainability, environmental science, business, communications, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Over 10 years of relevant experience, with 3-5 years in leadership roles focused on sustainability, ESG, or corporate responsibility in large organizations.
• Proven experience managing enterprise-level sustainability reporting, navigating frameworks and standards.
• Ability to effectively manage external relationships and engage with executive leadership.
• Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills to present complex topics to diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated success in strategic program management, change management, and cross-functional leadership.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience in voluntary carbon markets and environmental commodities.
• Familiarity with sustainability reporting software, such as Oracle EPM or SAP Sustainability.
• Advanced skills in data analytics, visualization, and process optimization.
• Background in employee engagement and development.
• Experience in sales or business development.
Responsibilities:
Lead a team responsible for the lifecycle management of hardware products through various stages including Bill of Material (BOM) management, New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, material transitions, and End of Life (EOL) management. Plan and direct resources and budgets, manage program timelines, and collaborate with design engineering. Ensure timely program release and adherence to budget constraints while supporting staff through guidance and technical assistance. Foster strategic partnerships and drive innovation to enhance Oracle's competitiveness. Deliver effective leadership by recognizing team members' unique abilities and promoting a high-performing environment.
The role is open for application for a minimum of three calendar days from the posting date or until filled. The salary range is USD $139,400 to $291,800 annually, potentially including bonus and equity options. Oracle also offers a comprehensive benefits package.
