A rapidly growing clean energy developer is seeking an experienced investment professional to lead financial modeling, underwriting, and market analysis across its portfolio. This role will play a central part in shaping investment decisions and supporting project financing efforts, working closely with cross-functional teams and senior leadership. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, excellent commercial judgment, and experience with renewable energy assets.
Financial Modeling
• Lead the creation and refinement of detailed financial models to support project financing, pricing strategies, acquisitions, and long-term portfolio planning.
• Collaborate across Legal, Finance, and Development to maintain consistent, high-quality modeling standards and valuation approaches.

Project Underwriting
• Define, manage, and update underwriting criteria across the project pipeline to reflect the organization’s investment strategy.
• Oversee modeling and underwriting activities for solar and energy storage projects, incorporating technical, commercial, and market inputs.

Market Analysis
• Evaluate market fundamentals and analyze forward curves to inform key assumptions within financial models.
• Deliver actionable insights to senior leadership regarding market trends, financing opportunities, and capital deployment strategies.

Team Leadership
• Provide mentorship and guidance to team members on topics such as financial structuring, commercial negotiations, and market assessment.
• Ensure strong communication and alignment across internal teams to support ongoing financing and commercial initiatives.
