Job Description

Freedom Energy Logistics is seeking a Digital Marketing Intern to assist with our online marketing activities. This role involves developing social media advertising strategies and email campaigns aimed at increasing brand awareness and audience engagement. The Digital Marketing Intern will collaborate with the marketing team to produce content, support social media and HubSpot email platforms, and analyze performance metrics to improve our online presence.

The ideal candidate enjoys social media, has a creative mindset, and understands online marketing principles. Knowledge of MarTec tools and analytics is a plus. This role offers hands-on experience in digital marketing within the energy industry.

Job Responsibilities
• Assist in the development and implementation of social and online strategies to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
• Create engaging content across various platforms, including social media posts, stories, videos, and email campaigns.
• Design visually appealing and engaging email templates to captivate our audience and drive conversions.
• Compose compelling and persuasive email content tailored to different audience segments, ensuring alignment with brand voice and marketing goals.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure campaigns align with overall marketing objectives.
• Analyze campaign metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and identify areas for enhancement. Monitor and report on key metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversions to optimize future campaigns.
• Stay current with the latest digital trends and best practices to ensure our strategies remain relevant.
• Support digital marketing initiatives, including email campaigns, content creation, and website updates.
• Participate in market research initiatives when opportunities arise.

Job Qualifications And Skills
• Possess a background in Marketing with a strong understanding of digital marketing and an interest in the energy industry.
• Hold a basic understanding of marketing concepts and tools, including social media platforms, content creation, lead generation, and analytics.
• Demonstrate familiarity with HubSpot, Salesforce, WordPress, Google Analytics, and Canva.
• Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Showcase strong organizational and project management capabilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Display creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Basic knowledge of SEO/SEM and Google Analytics is desirable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
• Basic expertise in SEO and social media, with experience in content creation, scheduling, and analytics being advantageous.

Requirements
• Currently enrolled in a BA/BS program in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related area.
• Previous internship experience in marketing, email marketing, or social media is advantageous.
• Fundamental knowledge of digital marketing tools and strategies.
• Interest in the energy or sustainability sector.
• Availability for a full-time internship for a minimum duration of 8 weeks.
