About the position

The Development chef will play an important role in crafting the selling stories, understanding the sales call before it happens and preparing the demo which encompasses strengths of the product specially driving price negotiations leading to unique selling story of the product. As the Development chef, you will lead these discussions internally to develop a training plan for all the resources and provide Basic Kitchen sales tools for ensuring mass level conversion. You will also lead the demonstration and sampling discussions with prospects and converting them to Blue Band Professional Service customers.

So, what does it take to be successful in this role?
• Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated knowledge of culinary techniques, menu development, and recipe creation. Strong understanding of product testing protocols, competition analysis, and global practices in the culinary field.
• Innovative Thinking and Product Development: Proven ability to lead discussion groups, generate insights for new product development, and create compelling selling stories. Continuous awareness of culinary trends, with a focus on enhancing product capabilities to meet market demands.
• Effective Communication and Leadership: Strong interpersonal and leadership skills are essential. The ability to craft selling stories, conduct aligned demos, and facilitate operator sampling requires clear communication and leadership to strengthen relationships with Direct Sales Reps, Territory Sales Managers, and Channel Managers.
• Problem Solving and Documentation: Adept at complaint management, ensuring timely resolution, and documenting preventive solutions. The role demands attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to track and analyze data for continuous improvement.
